FIELD MEASUREMENT TECHNICIAN (14242)
Location: Field Offices
Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and other formal technical training preferred.
Experience: 7 years of experience in meter and controls maintenance and operations required.
Qualifications:
This position will:
• Perform all duties necessary to initiate and maintain the correct operation of production meters and well and facilities controls equipment by employing industry-approved practices and procedures.
• Perform and witnesses all meter proving in assigned work area.
• Understands advanced well testing in accordance with current industry practices and regulations, and obtains required measurement values of oil, gas, and water produced by an individual well stream.
• Maintain and operate facilities control systems and field measurement systems.
• Assist in performance of routine maintenance on other facility equipment such as pipeline pumps, gas compressors, engine generators, compressed air supply systems, site drainage and sumps system, and fuel systems.
• Obtain measurements and calculates sales volume of oil and gas produced from the field and associated system volumes for fuel supply, and flare utilizing orifice meters, turbine meters, or positive displacement meters for liquid or gas.
• Obtain and determine qualitative measurements of liquids and gas.
• Assists in the training of contract personnel working in his area of responsibility.
• Report all accidents and incidents to immediate supervisor
• Performs any other job-related duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
Description: The Field Measurement Technician is responsible to insure all metering and measurement systems are operated within design capabilities and in compliance of applicable regulations. This person will also maintain meters including meter proving and witnessing sales meter calibrations and proving and report unusual conditions to immediate supervisor.
LEAD FIELD OPERATOR (14218)
Location: Field Offices
Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and other formal technical training preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience preferred.
Qualifications:
This position will:
• Perform all duties necessary to initiate and maintain prescribed production levels from lease oil and gas wells by employing industry-approved practices and procedures.
• Understand the working design and operation of wellhead and associated well site components as well as the basic design principles and operation of surface production process equipment.
• Perform basic well testing in accordance with current industry practices and regulations, and obtains required measurement values of oil, gas, and water produced by an individual well stream.
• As necessary, adjust operation levels and rates on the above equipment, and performs basic troubleshooting procedures to obtain maximum efficiency and provide proper maintenance.
• Assist in performance of routine maintenance on other facility equipment such as pipeline pumps, gas compressors, engine generators, compressed air supply systems, site drainage and sumps system, and fuel systems.
• Obtain measurements and calculates sales volume of oil and gas produced from the field and associated system volumes for fuel supply, and flare utilizing orifice meters, turbine meters, or positive displacement meters for liquid or gas.

Education: 4-yr Degree or equivalent in related field.
Experience:
